Blackburn Referees Association provides training, coaching and ongoing development opportunities for football referees of all ages.

We will help you to achieve your potential as a match official and give you opportunities to progress through the promotion structure of the Football Association.

We work closely with other referee societies in East Lancashire to offer mentoring to all levels of official regardless of age and experience.

The Blackburn Referee Association was founded in 1899.  We are affiliated to the Football Association and The Referees Association.  Blackburn is proud to be associated with Blackburn & District Football Combination, the Blackburn Sunday Football League and all local youth leagues.

"Our next monthly meeting is our AGM followed by a training evening. It will be on Thursday 26th August at Blackburn Town Library - Abram Room - staring at 7.30 pm.
Following this there will be our first training evening of the new season with a guest speake, Mr Andrew Breckell from Lanacahsire Football Association. He will be talking about county appointments amongst other things.

This a reminder also that membership for the season is also due for renewal.

Law amendments for the Season 2010/11 are on the training page".
